If you want a bunch of mediocre rubber minis for really cheap because you're wanting to get into table top RPGs, you should make the dive. This is my opinion though and I am not bashing Reaper, well ok maybe I am a little but I feel that it is just but again this is my opinion. A mini I really liked came to me.after a year and a half.broken. One that broke several times and was broken when I received it was a large spider. This was disappointing but I was still very happy with bones 4.Īll in all it is a great buy for those looking to start collecting/painting minis but for those who have been in the game for years it seems like bags full of Chinese junk and There were several wizards in bones 4 that I already had in metal. Most will not catch it until they start going through the minis once they receive them, with a "wait, I think I have this already". For those who have been collecting and painting reapers minis for years may find this very annoying. We have no idea what's bones and what's bones black.Īnother thing I noticed was there are minis from bones 4 in the current Kickstarter.who needs 50 kobolds? Reapers also uses old metal minis and has them casted in bones. There was a statement made that there would be a lot (not all though) of bones black. They have only one new paint set, they have raised the prices on everything. Miniatures painting or gaming can be a pretty expensive hobby depending on a few things and we all know mini folks love a good bargain. Reapers Kickstarters are a "cash grab" and the brick and mortar shops really feel it. I spent a good amount of money and last weekend I saw some of bones 4 in my flgs.īones 5 though.I don't think I will be backing this. There were 2 paint sets, tons of minis, bases and more. I backed bones 4 and it was a great deal.
